COVID-19 UPDATE
- In March of 2020, Bill immediately started researching how the virus may impact filmmaking. He attended webinars, spoke with lab personnel, Chief Medical Officers and Personal Protection Equipment suppliers to understand how best to protect actors and crew members. In addition, gained Covid-19 Compliance Officer Training by Health Education Services.
- Bill developed a comprehensive plan for managing the virus in a filmmaking environment. Senior business executives with SAG-AFTRA approved Bill’s production plan, in order for the Movie of the Week Desperate Widows to resume production. In addition, Bill’s plan was also approved by Amazon and Bill went on produce the physical visual effects assets for Welcome to the Blumhouse premiering on Amazon Prime in October 2020.
- Lastly, Bill has direct contacts with major suppliers of PPE such as National Chemical Laboratories and Front-Line Safety. Whether out fitting a crew of fifteen or hundreds, Bill can have the necessary safety supplies on set within a matter of twenty-four hours or less.
